The Build
Our clients, Tracy and Lino wanted a small homeholiday home for themselves. They discovered Villa in Puglia after being passed on by another agency who knew Bettina and her team had the perfect plot for their needs.
We provided our usual services including a full 'walk-through' of the various legal requirements, obtaining a codice fiscale (insurance number), the signing of the compromesso (contract) and full legal title being passed over, along with the opening an Italian bank account.
We produced 3d drawings, plans, discussed our design ideas, dealt with the various planning and building controls we were to expect during the build of the property and ensured regular contact with bronny and alain as we developed their new Italian Trullo.
Tracy's children spent their first 3 years at the Trullo, before starting to rent it out to tourists
The trullo has 1 double bedroom, 1 bunk bedroom for the children sharing a big bathroom and 1 living room that becomes a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and dividing doors, a small open plan kitchen, small dining area and a grotto with an extra fireplace. We also designed a lovely 3m x 3m plunge pool
