The Build
Our client john and Kathy came to us with their requirements when looking to buy a holiday home for investment home in Puglia, Italy. The brief was to find land suitable to construct a property to sleep at least 8/10 people, with large indoor living spaces, serviced outside living and swimming pool.
We showed john and Kathy and their friend Jill (who already owns property in Puglia) around various sites suitable for a property of this size until we found this beautiful plot. Together we dealt with the various legal requirements, obtaining a codice fiscale (tax code), the signing of the compromesso (contract) and full legal title being passed over, along with the opening an Italian bank account.
We produced plans, discussed our design ideas, dealt with the various planning and building controls we were to expect during the build of the property and ensured regular contact with John and Kathy at all times.
The result is a beautiful 4 bedroomed villa, consisting of 2 master bedrooms (one of these is in an extra Lamia), both with large en-suite bathrooms, walk in shower/and bathtub, further 2 twin bedrooms, sharing a huge bathroom with a round bathtub and walk in shower.
There is a big open plan living room and kitchen leading to the barbeque area with 5 steps leading down to the infinity swimming pool.
It has a large kitchen and internal living space with possibility for another 2 beds hidden in a walled sofa, outside kitchen and living area, complete with sofa-style comfortable seating, huge beach pool - all with suitable shade from the midday sun.
